Owen & Emma

I heart these t(w)eens!!!   I have been so stinkin' excited to post this session.  Between mom and I picking out wardrobe and careful thought on my locations, I think we nailed it!  I mean seriously...these two could be models.  It was so hard for me to pick out my favorites because they all look so darn awesome!

Owen is an amazing golfer and had just won THREE tournaments in a row!  He had me in tears he was making me laugh so hard with his office quotes and this had my face hurting...in response to the twirling of his golf club, "It's posing for you..."  The way he said it had me throwing my head back in the biggest belly laugh ever!  And Miss Emma...if I were guaranteed a girl like her then I would try for another baby in a heartbeat.  I could just take her home with me.  I adore her love of life and her joy is contagious.

We practically laughed the entire time...especially when mom conveniently had a hammer in her car so we could whack some tin back in place....priceless!  I can't thank you enough for the awesome time I had.  I'm truly blessed to have met ya'll...

Gracie & Lucy

Melissa contacted me a couple of weeks ago wanting a session of her two little girlies.  She has a special surprise for Daddy on Father's Day :)  I seriously almost baby-napped Lucy she was so precious!  Fun loving Gracie kept me on my toes...I LOVE the energy that children have!  So I took them to a couple spots one being a flippin' awesome new location I found...the only drawback was that it was stinky.  We even got Melissa in a few shots too!

Excuses and Siblings

Frankly I have none...excuses that is...other than I have been chillin' like a villain from my blog.  Sorry folks.  I know it's so horrible.  I HAVE been doing other things though.  Like:  weeding the garden, ripping down even more wallpaper, playing around with my photoshop skillz, sleeping in the sun, meeting clients, watching a movie...or two...or three.  But my summer will be completely slammed from tomorrow on...so relax my faithful peeps :)  I won't leave you without some images.  Here are some from my Florida session a while back.  Yes...I did have many excuses not to get these done...none of them good.  It was my sister's dying wish for me to get her "Funky Fire Hydrant" pictures to her...so here she is...and some of me too thanks to my sis.

Everyone loves freebies

Pootin' around the internet I found a site that offered free Photoshop Actions, textures,& storyboards...even for you Element folks who are desperately trying to find some!  They are right up my alley as I heart vintage post processing.  I realize everyone doesn't like that look as much as I do, but check this lady out.  Show this mamma of two younsters some love and money too if you have it...she works on these and gives them away for free.  There is a donate button for clicking if your sweet little heart wants to.  These are SO much fun to play with...

These are some I played with:

Sushi

One of the commercial projects I am working on involves me going out and taking artistic pictures of the night life here in Great Falls.  I had this image of a plate of Sushi in my head...told you I was crazy...So, looking for some Sushi I called The Breaks.  They started a Sushi night on Thursdays.  Steve, the manager, was SO kind to allow me to take pictures.  They were very welcoming when we arrived and made a special plate for one of Dave's rolls so I could get some cool shots.  Yum...Fresh Sushi :)  We made a date of it.  He had never had Sushi before.  It was really entertaining seeing how big his pie hole got when he tried to put a bigger piece in.  I actually had a funnier picture but you might see something to the tune of, "Great Falls photographer murdered by angry husband"  on the late night news if I posted that one.  So here's a little from our Sushi night...I even got a bit of Sake2Me :)

Baby *M*

This little girl did not want to wait for me...Her mamma and I were so excited about the birth session but while I was in Florida, she just had to make an appearance...early!  So here she is in all her new baby skin glory.  She was wide awake too...wouldn't sleep a wink for us ;)  I have a feeling that nothing is going to stop her in this world.  You've got big things ahead for you sweet baby...

Joe+Amber=engaged

I am so honored to spend the BIG day with these two!  Joe contacted me a couple months ago letting me know that he and Amber wanted me to be their wedding photographer.  They are planning a gorgeous wedding in July.  Can I just be honest and say that when I'm around them...I get giddy...it's the love...it's gotta be.  They are so wonderful.  I could just miniaturize Amber and stick her in my pocket she's that awesome!  A pocket Amber...everyone needs one.  We trucked through knee high snow and braved the freakish swarms of gnats (isn't that how you spell the little buggers?).  It feels like I have a bajillion projects going on right now so it was so refreshing getting to hang out with my new friends!  Here are some of my faves:

I swear I didn't photoshop Joe's eyes...they really are that piercing!
