Joe+Amber=engaged

I am so honored to spend the BIG day with these two!  Joe contacted me a couple months ago letting me know that he and Amber wanted me to be their wedding photographer.  They are planning a gorgeous wedding in July.  Can I just be honest and say that when I'm around them...I get giddy...it's the love...it's gotta be.  They are so wonderful.  I could just miniaturize Amber and stick her in my pocket she's that awesome!  A pocket Amber...everyone needs one.  We trucked through knee high snow and braved the freakish swarms of gnats (isn't that how you spell the little buggers?).  It feels like I have a bajillion projects going on right now so it was so refreshing getting to hang out with my new friends!  Here are some of my faves:

I swear I didn't photoshop Joe's eyes...they really are that piercing!

Apparently some construction workers were checkin' her out too...they were hoopin' and hollering at her...this was her reaction when I told her...

Dusty & Kim: engagement

It's a good thing Kim likes to talk because that's what we did the whole hour and a half trip to the ranch...and I enjoyed every minute of it :)  Nestled in the middle of the mountains is a little rancher community where men with tight jeans, boots and big hats tip their hats as you drive by.  This is where Dusty's family way back when homesteaded.  Now, it will become the venue for which Dusty and Kim will proclaim their vows.  How romantic huh?  So, in my previous post I talked about the weather.  Even though little snow spurts came and went, nothing could keep these two from smiling...ESPECIALLY when Dusty told Kim some good news...I'm not sure I'm aloud to say right yet...but it's good :)

So, here's a few of the session....oh yea!  I finally upgraded to pro so now I can have all the huge pictures I want..."Holla"

Friday...

...seems like Monday for me because it's the day that I go into work for a few hours at the pharmacy.  Weird huh?  My clockwork is all messed up for some reason.  Yesterday I had the opportunity to go to a ranch!  What a beautiful area!  The weather was fickle...it would snow and then stop, then snow, then stop, then it finally just kept snowing.  These two stuck it out for me though...more to come soon from this session!

Josh & Athena: engagement

From the first introduction I could tell that he was smitten by her.  Josh is southern gentleman who asked me if I would be the photographer for he and Athena's wedding.  I first was stoked that he popped the question.  I remember when he first brought her to church...I secretly hope that something wonderful would blossom.  They are such a great couple and I am so excited about this new chapter in their lives.  We had so much fun...we even saw a black squirrel...yes!  THEY DO EXIST!  (The M&M commercial is running through my head right now)  So here ya go love birds...enjoy your sneak peek :)

I'm such a tease...

My eventful day included a call from my sis-in-law telling me she is coming to visit tomorrow, an assortment of drawings from my children - of me - in which I literally look like a pig, and a fabulous engagement session with this awesome couple :)

They are getting married next February and I'm thrilled to have been asked to document their special day.  We did the engagement shoot today and I have decided that I just want to scoop this girl's eyeballs out and put them on my wall.  They are SO beautiful with the most piercing blue I think I have ever seen!

I will post more sneak peeks later this week...until then, here's one to hold ya over :)

Chad & Melissa

I was invited into a cozy home as Chad finished getting ready. "Yea, we really like the place..." he said as he hovered over to put on his socks. Then came his beautiful fiance, carefully coming down the stairs. She had that pregnancy glow...I knew from the beginning these two were a good pair. He hailed from Utah and it was destiny that he met Melissa. They knew from the start it was meant to be. The opening of a new restaurant in Great Falls is how they came here.

All I can say is this little boy soon to come is going to be surrounded by so much love. It just oozes from their smiles. They can't wait to hold him in their arms and stare at him in wonder. The product of such love...I am so excited for you and was thrilled that you let me be apart of this amazing piece of your lives...Thank you!

Ya'll were so much fun to hang out with and hope you had as much of a good time as I did :)
