Love, Valentines and Poles

NO....not those kinds of poles...light poles.  In the middle of shooting my very own and first wedding yesterday, my car slid out of control and I ran into a light pole right outside the entrance of the church.  Some tears and a little whiplash later, I moved on and finished the wedding.  Really sore this morning but my friend Motrin has helped me greatly today.  I hope ya'll had a great Valentine's Day!  I had so much fun shooting with David...I didn't kill him like I thought I would.  I was so crazy thinking about what I was doing I didn't have time to see what he was up to.  He got some great shots and it was just downright fun having him there to support me.  So to torture everyone I have just one image to share from yesterdays events...found a killer inside location that was PERFECT for this bride...her colors were blue and green :)

  1. Great picture! Thanks for sharing!

  6. Dear Anonymous,

Thank you SO much for the compliment on the bride's picture :) It's great when someone shares some love on my blog.

In response to weddings being all about the bride and not me. You are completely right! So right! I can't tell you how right you are :) To clarify, I spent about 10 minutes of the 10 HOUR shoot day to pull myself together after my car slid out of control. I completed the wedding when I probably should have gone to the immediate care to get checked out. I cannot help the fact that I got in an accident on the wedding day. That's why they call them accidents right?

HOWEVER, what you are reading here is MY blog. What I write on MY blog is MY choice. Since I put the accident aside for the wedding day, I decided to share a few of my experiences of the day for a few sentences. On MY blog. My blog gives readers and potential clients a peak into my work and even my life. I want people to be able to know me before they even call to talk about their wedding or session. One can learn alot about someone by what they write. Like your comment for example :)

Take care and I hope you have a better day!
