Dustin&Suzie {plus sweet munchkins}

When Suzie called me up for some pictures, I new right then, what a sweet hearted person I had encountered! They all were so amazing to put up with the windy weather too. This is the same session that we took the crazy cape pictures...I was relieved that Suzie said Dave and I were quite entertaining to watch. I'm so glad I can have fun with what I do!

Oh my word...and the baby!!!! This baby was AMAZING! She was so patient with me as I bundled her up...It's babies like her that tempt me into having more kids ;)

This family pulled my heart strings in a big way and I'm so thankful they let me peek into their lives and capture their fabulousness. Thanks guys for the fun time and laughs!!!

Prayer + Patience = baby *j*

She scooped him up in her arms...safe, content and secure.  He yawned that wonderful baby yawn.  She glowed.  This was the answer to her prayer...her desire that spawned more than a year ago...

I have known Keith and Michelle for almost the same amount of time I've lived in Great Falls.  Michelle is a keeper.  You know what I mean?  A friend that I could call for anything.  A friend that, even though I may not have talked to for a month, can call and pick up where we left off...like no time went by at all.  So when I found out that her family had been chosen.  Nay, destined to adopt baby *j*, I was ecstatic!!!  This family and baby *j* are perfect for each other!  He even has red hair like his big brother :)

Michelle, you deserve this more than anyone I know.  You are beautiful and you glow when you're around him.  He is the perfect addition to your family and is truly blessed to be able to call you "Mommy."

She has lady bug tattoos to represent her children and is adding a 3rd
Look!  baby*j* is pointing to where he wants his :)

I think this is my favorite of the family pics...I tried something different and focused on their feet.  I love the softness of the image to match the intimacy of the moment

Baby *M*

This little girl did not want to wait for me...Her mamma and I were so excited about the birth session but while I was in Florida, she just had to make an appearance...early!  So here she is in all her new baby skin glory.  She was wide awake too...wouldn't sleep a wink for us ;)  I have a feeling that nothing is going to stop her in this world.  You've got big things ahead for you sweet baby...

Baby *K*

Do you remember this fun session with the adorable little boy???  Well, he just got a new baby sister and I was so honored to be able to revisit this charmer once again.  What a fun session.  I love getting to hold the tiny babies and have my couple hours of "itch" time.  This baby girl was simply one of the most beautiful babies I think I've ever seen.  Ever.  No, I'm not kidding and I'm not being bias either...you tell me if she doesn't look like the perfect doll...

Sweet Twins

So, before I get to the twins I have an announcement to make...I did it...I turned my part time job hours in.  I had given my two weeks letter to my boss on Monday and Friday was my last day to work my normal hours.  I am still going to fill in 3 and a half hours on Friday, but for the most part, I resigned.  I am so stinkin' excited!!! BUT...so nervous at the same time.  I feel that this will be a good walk of faith for me.  I love what I do and I love the people I meet through my photography.  I have developed so many wonderful relationships.  It's such a blessing to be able to call this my job now :)  So if you ever think of me just pray that this thing will keep going through the winter...I know God will take care of us regardless.

The twins came on Thursday and boy was that a fun experience.  Mom and I made the conclusion that when I've got twins coming, plan on not doing anything for three hours...haha.  They were so adorable!  It took a little time to get baby boy to sleep but I enjoyed talking with mom and dad while the babies happily ate.  It was so cool that had two tiny ones together.  I loved it!!!

Thank you Katrina for making the call and giving me the opportunity to meet your awesome family...you are gonna just LOVE those babies when you meet them :)

I took some of baby girl while brother was eating

Baby *E*

I frantically searched for her...the woman with the newborn.  I saw their family in the parking lot heading towards their vehicle and I ran out like a crazy lady and presented her my card.

I sometimes feel awkward when presenting myself as a photographer to people.  I don't want to seem salesman-ish...but at the same time, if I could have had the opportunity to get pictures done of my newborn this way, I would have not have wasted the money at the studio with my babies.  In fact, I'm so excited that my photographer friends and family, and me and my family are going to do a trade shoot.  We are hanging around town to some pretty sweet spots and are going to have fun with the cameras.  I can't wait to see my family the way we are...interacting with each other.  No cheese, no poses, just sincere love showing through.

I love connecting with my families.  I feel that only when you know someone can you tell their story.  I have been given a pretty outgoing personality so I feel that photography and me were meant for each other.  I love meeting new people and thankfully on all my sessions people have opened up to me...I feel blessed to have earned a trust like this.

I just want to thank all of my clients for the fun times!  Here's a bit of the sweet baby I followed out the door ;)

Baby *K*

I would like to think that I am horribly sleep deprived...but I'm sure I don't come close to how tired this baby's mamma is.  The memories of getting up at the wee hours are a bit foggy for me.  I know that it sucked and I know that I did survive.  So, don't worry guys...this too shall pass :)

Funny story.  My friend didn't show that much during her pregnancy.  We had planned to do a maternity session but I was just waiting for the belly to get bigger.  Duh Ali...not every woman gets ginormous as I did during the last weeks of pregnancy.  So, thinking she had still a few weeks to go I decided to go ahead and plan that session.  Between both of our families coming in and out through the summer and my delusion that she was going to get bigger, I finally scheduled it for a Wednesday...she was 38 weeks folks.  So, where is this going you ask?  The Sunday before a beautiful baby was born.  I felt horrible.  I mean she was such a cute pregnant lady!  But, it was OK because I was able to take pictures of the baby when I like to.  Between 1 to 2 weeks.  At that age, you just set the heating pad under the backdrop and hope they don't get too relaxed and pee all over....but I completely expect it....I think I need to invest in more backdrops ;)

This baby did so good.  I love it when they are this little because they will let you do most anything.  She laid in a bowl for me for the longest time.  So cute.  I think I REALLY like newborn shoots.  So, let all the mom's know that when the bun's out of the oven, I'll be ready.  Without further adew I present to you Kyla LeeAnn...a beautiful little lady with some hair.
